Other

  1. TWO STRIKE POLICY: a warning will be given to the respondent of any grieving party. If another offence takes place within 6 months, the respondent will be asked to leave.

  2. RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS POLICY: we want a comfortable environment for all members and common sense must be used to attain respectful relationships. We are an anime club not a dating club. Anyone found with the intention of attending club meetings to find a date and/or disrespecting another member's personal space or decision to decline offer to date will be issued a warning or dismissed depending on the severity of the offence. It's okay for members to date within the club if there is reciprocal interest in each other but if someone says no then you have to respect that. No stalking, no pressuring - anything which falls under the DO NOT category can be grounds for instant dismissal. Reason for this policy is to discourage new members from entering club to solely to find a date. Members of MAC participate with the main aim to connect with others who also enjoy anime. This is an anime club. If anyone begins to feel uncomfortable, please let us know immediately.

  3. PROTECTION POLICY: any behaviour listed under the ‘DO NOT’ POLICY can result in instant warning or immediate permanent ban.

  4. All complaints from members will be taken seriously.

  5. All policies apply to online club spaces.

  6. The club is not responsible for any events organised by its members.

  7. All club events will clearly state that it is organised by MELBOURNE ANIME CLUB.

  8. Club officers are here to serve the members but will not tolerate abuse.

  9. Photos taken at all club events may be used for publicity and/or marketing purposes. By attending our events, you automatically consent to having these photos used for these purposes when you participate in photo taking or are unintentionally in the background.
